Initial Offerring of courses :
The initial offering would be online courses on Islamic studies and Sulu Darul Islam History and Culture to be done in partnership with some Islamic organizations as well as Educators training.
Among the initial diplomas being offered as online Islamic and educational courses are as follows :
Diploma Degrees in the following specializations:
a. Tausug Culture
b. Tausug History
c. Tausug Spirituality
In order to be awarded a diploma in the following degrees, the following requirements must be accomplished :
a. Be enrolled
b. Prepare a one sheet essay on a particular topic one wishes to do research on.
c. Upon approval by the academic Board, student-applicant shall then prepare a one hour documentary in six months time in the topic selected which shall be uploaded to the University’s website. Videos must have subtitles in English, language of the documentary may be in English, Tausug or Bahasa Malay/Indonesia
d. Upon evaluation of the academic council of the documentary, the appropriate degree will be awarded.
Enrollment process :
1. Students must enroll and register at sharifulhashimuniversity@gmail.com for now and indicates in the particular Diploma they are interested.
2. Students shall then Submit the title of their proposed Topic to the Secretary (Via email)
3. prepare a one sheet essay on a particular topic one wishes to do research on. (Via email)
4. Upon evaluation of the academic Board, recommendations shall be given to the student-applicant who will use the recommendations to be able to then prepare a one hour documentary in six months time in the topic selected which shall be uploaded to the University’s website. Videos must have subtitles in English, language of the documentary may be in English, Tausug or Bahasa Malay/Indonesia
5. After the preparation of the video, it shall be initially submitted to the registrar for evaluation who will submit it to the academic council. Upon evaluation of the academic council of the documentary, the appropriate degree will be awarded.
